Hi, my name is Matt Cichy, and I'd like to thank you for visiting my website.
I first started doing web work when my employer at the time, asked me to start updating the corporate website. I fell in love! I had always felt that I had art and design running through my veins, but I never felt I could build a career expressing it. Web design is the perfect medium for me because get to explore my existing talents and with each new project, I challenge myself to build on my skills and learn something new.
I live in Seattle, WA and I draw a lot of my design inspiration from the beautiful environment that surrounds me. My primary inspiration comes from the excitement my clients express, when they get to see their vision come to life through my designs.
Since the fall of 2005 I've been doing front-end development for websites I build utilizing client-side XHTML & CSS and server-side PHP. I think as a web designer, one should know how to use table-less layout, CSS based design and accessible websites friendly to assistive devices.
